"As I learn the lessons that life teaches me, I grow toward ever-greater joy and freedom."
—Swami Kriyananda
“I welcome everything that comes to me as an oportunity for further growth”.
2021 will soon be behind us: its joys and sorrows, obstacles and opportunities, its hopes and disappointments will eventually fade from our awareness. Before we let it go, however, let’s gather and cherish the precious lessons and gifts that have brought us a wider and deeper understanding of ourselves and life’s unexpected events.
The program begins with an orientation on Sunday evening, 26 December, with morning classes through Friday morning. See the Program section for complete details.
You will receive an electronic "Reflections Workbook" with 18 chapters which you will use to write your own story. In each session you will be guided in the process of introspection, self-awareness and discovery, seeking new dimensions of understanding.
Each day you will receive a random message from the universe on which to reflect. By the last day of year you will be able to give an appropriate title to your Book of 2021.
If you are not able to attend all of the classes, a recording will be available. It is necessary to attend the first class in order to understand the process.

"The atmosphere you breathe and life together with you always awaken in me joy, serenity and the desire for spiritual growth. Thank you again for all the emotions that you always manage to give me with new impetus and enthusiasm". -Paola
"It relaxed me that people here don't seem to judge or 'catalogue' you. They open their hearts and try to be useful to others and to make them understand that God is everything. This helps you to open yourself to a new consciousness and a possible spiritual path". -Aurora
"A place of peace, of life, of brotherhood, which leaves in my soul the experience and the yearning to live them more and more, truly and deeply, in my daily life". -Nadia
"Following the course "Reflections 2015" has changed the perspective on my existence. During the days of the course at Ananda I began to take an attitude of detached observation of life's events. As we were asked to do, I tried to look at what had happened to me during the past year as if from a stage, trying not to identify with the main actor, that is, me!
The events that happened, the people I met, the old relationships, everything slowly took on a different meaning. I discovered that everything that had come to me during that period carried a message, was a clue that served to make me understand something about myself.
During the course I learned to recognize these clues and to decipher the messages they contained. It was fun, I felt a bit like a detective....
But the best thing was that the game wasn't over when I got home. In fact, I learned to stay in the armchair and watch what happens to me every day with the detached attitude of a spectator who enjoys the show in the theater.
Starting from Ananda, I was afraid that I would not be able to keep my seat in the audience, that I would not be able to recognize the messages that the divine would allow me to stay the course. Instead, I continued to find clues: by now I have learned the mechanism, every circumstance in which I happen to find myself, even on the bus, every encounter that seems random, even the writing on a billboard, are all signals sent especially for me! The whole universe speaks to me. Probably it has always spoken to me, but now I have learned to listen". - Anonymous
