Mauro
Mauro Grande travels a stretch of life that he defines as “canonically” normal until 2011 when, attracted by Paramhansa Yogananda, he becomes his disciple and embarks on the path of Kriya Yoga.
Western astrology has always been his great passion, and during one of his first stays at Ananda Assisi, this passion was enlivened and enhanced by the discovery of a new, fascinating and vast universe: the Jyotish, better known as Vedic Astrology of which Swami Sri Yukteswar, Guru of Paramhansa Yogananda, was an enlightened exponent.
Since then he has enthusiastically devoted himself to the study and practice of this very ancient science (the oldest according to the Vedas) with Drupada Macdonald, now living in Nevada City, California.
In 2012 Mauro chose to permanently change himself and his life and moved to the Ananda Community in Assisi. Here he lives joyfully, gratefully offering his service to Yogananda's wonderful work, devoted mainly to lectures and consultations on Vedic astrology.
