Kabir has played an active role in the Ananda Living Wisdom schools for over forty years. He studied child psychology at New York State University. He then moved to California where he obtained his doctorate and began serving in the Ananda Living Wisdom School at Ananda Village, near Nevada City. He studied the methods of Waldorf and Montessori, dedicating himself to deep and profound research regarding education. He worked with children in Italy for eight years, and has taught in Austria, India and the United Arab Emirates.

This has given me a much broader vision of education and its potential and has made me more aware of the great crisis that education is suffering in the world today.
