Gopala
Bramachari Gopala (Giorgio Aschieri), a graduate surveyor, had been working as a contractor in the construction industry for seven years when in 2006 his life took on full meaning in contact with Yogananda's books.
He became a disciple and Kriyaban in 2008, and that same year he moved to Ananda Assisi where he still resides. After serving in various community settings and promoting the film Finding Happiness in cinemas across Italy, he now serves on the community farm called Lands of Light. In 2016 he walked the Way of St. Francis and now leads walking pilgrimages in Umbria and Spain to Santiago de Compostela. He is studying to become a Raja Yoga instructor.
