Two days to create a new consciousness of peace together.

Description

The great masters of all religions have always spoken of peace as the natural expression of a life lived in harmony with God: divine peace arises from cosmic consciousness and blossoms as we live in an ever-deepening awareness of our infinite nature.

It is something fundamentally different from peace commonly understood merely as the ‘absence of conflict’.

On the occasion of All Saints’ Day, when we celebrate the Saints and Masters who have illuminated humanity's path through their lives and continue to bless us with their presence, we invite you to experience an intense weekend dedicated to peace.

It will be a special moment where people from diverse spiritual paths will unite in a single purpose: to harness the power of prayer, meditation, and devotion to bring greater peace into human consciousness.

Paramhansa Yogananda taught that peace is the first experience we touch in meditation, serving as the foundation upon which we can receive God as joy, love, and power.

The program unfolds across two days of profound inspiration and intense spiritual practice:

Day 1: Inspiration, Listening, & Dialogue A symposium featuring speakers from various spiritual traditions who will share their experience and vision on awakening peace as a living consciousness capable of transforming society.

Day 2: Immersion in Practice — Together, we will generate vibrations of peace to flood the world with this deeply needed quality. From dawn to dusk, we will engage in continuous practices: guided meditations, devotional chanting, mantras, prayers, energy healing exercises, periods of silence, ceremonies, and other profound experiences designed not only to help us feel peace within our hearts, but also to radiate it out into the world.

Over these two days, our goal is to co-create a powerful field of consciousness where everyone feels part of something greater: a spiritual family that, transcending individual background traditions, recognizes the underlying unity connecting us all.

When we attune to peace, we place ourselves on the same wavelength as the Christ Consciousness—the divine force that unites, heals, and transforms the world.

The Speakers:

Asha Nayaswami
studied for over forty years with Swami Kriyananda, a direct disciple of Paramhansa Yogananda. She has dedicated her life to bringing spiritual understanding to others through teaching, counseling, and writing. To that end, her lectures in the United States and around the world, letters to spiritual seekers, and her other writings are available on his website: ashajoy.com.
Her name, in Sanskrit, means "hope." She has been one of the spiritual directors of the Ananda community in Polo Alto for more than thirty years and is the author of several books: Stories of Miracles (Loved And Protected), Swami Kriyananda as We Have Known Him, Ask Asha.

Swami Bankhandi Maharaj:
Indian monk and authentic yogi reminiscent of India's ancient sages. He lives in a forest ashram high in the Himalayan mountains, welcoming pilgrims and devotees year-round. At 107 years old, he continues to travel to share the wisdom and spiritual consciousness developed over a long life dedicated to contemplation and communion with the Divine. His experience brings to the symposium the voice of an ancient tradition that sees inner realization as the foundation of all genuine transformation.

Rabbi Dr. Alon Goshen-Gottstein:
Rabbi, scholar, and founder of the Elijah Interfaith Institute in Jerusalem, he is an international leading figure in interreligious dialogue. For many years, he has brought together leaders and masters from diverse religions, creating opportunities for encounter, friendship, and mutual understanding. His extensive experience in interfaith dialogue offers valuable insight into how different spiritual traditions can recognize one another, collaborate, and build peace together.

Swami Joythimayananda:
Spiritual teacher, Vaidya, and master of Yoga and Ayurveda, he is the founder of the Joytinat Ashram in Italy. For many years, he has been dedicated to transmitting the ancient wisdom of Yoga and Ayurveda, placing harmony between body, mind, soul, nature, and the Divine at the center. His path offers a vision of peace rooted in self-knowledge and integral transformation.

Buddhist Monks from the Pomaia Community:
Hailing from the Tibetan Buddhist community of Pomaia (affiliated with the Lama Tzong Khapa Institute), they represent a thousand-year-old tradition founded on meditation, compassion, and understanding the mind. Buddhism offers a profound contribution to understanding the inner roots of conflict and the processes through which the mind can be trained in awareness, compassion, and peace.

Fra Pietro Maranesi:
Capuchin friar, theologian, and author, he is one of the most authoritative contemporary scholars of Saint Francis and the Franciscan tradition. Through teaching and numerous publications, he explores core themes of the Franciscan experience such as fraternity, encounter, reconciliation, and relating to others. He brings to the symposium the perspective of a tradition that, through Saint Francis, continues to offer the world an extraordinarily relevant testimony of universal dialogue and brotherhood.
